Some venues have a rich story to tell — and last night, the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club told a great one. With 80 members registered, the BCC brought members and guests together on the waterfront for our March Mingle, and with the BQYC celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, the night felt like something worth raising a glass to.
Thank you to Dale Holland and the entire team at the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club for welcoming us into their historic home and hosting in true nautical style.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating: Founded in 1876, the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Canada. At 150 years, it remains a cornerstone of waterfront life in Belleville. Last night was a chance to pause, appreciate that legacy, and celebrate what it means to have an institution like the BQYC woven into the fabric of our community. Here’s to the next 150!
New to You Member: We were thrilled to welcome a first-time mingle attendee to the stage: Parker Janes, of IG Wealth Management. Welcome to the BCC community, Parker! We hope to see you at many more events to come.
Congratulations to Our Door Prize Winners! Four lucky attendees went home with something extra last night:
A Special Thank You to Our Host: To the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club — thank you for opening your doors (and your bar!) to the BCC community and for sharing this milestone year with us! There’s something special about mingling somewhere with 150 years of history behind it.
If you missed last night, keep an eye on our events calendar — our next BCC Mingle is a MEGA Mingle with our neighbouring Chambers in Quinte West and Prince Edward County! Hosted by our very own Belleville Senators.
